February 8, 2023, 9-10am CET - The Becoop tools

This the 4th BECoop Webinar and is dedicated to the presentation and demonstration of the tools developed during the project. The audience will receive a first-hand review of the available tools and demos of the Self-Assessment tool and the e-Market Environment.

  • Self-Assessment tool – on online tool that provides an evaluation methodology and tool for assessing the status and future potential of bioenergy communities
  • Toolkit – an online repository of existing open-source tools
  • E-Market platform – connects supply chain stakeholders
  • Knowledge Exchange Platform – A pan European Repository of knowledge, tools and services in the field of community bioenergy heating
  • Network of Interest – an international Network of Interest (NoI) for all actors of bioenergy technologies and energy communities

March 13, 2023, 4.45-5.45pm CET - BECoop presents - District Heating, all you ever wanted to know!

The webinar will cover the following topics:

  • district heating – definition, examples, possibilities,
  • financial aspects of district heating,
  • current technologies and solutions about heat generation from biomass fuels in district heating,
  • pros and cons of district heating use in rural areas.

The main objective is to describe the biomass district heating technology, highlighting the various aspects of the supply chain and the main technological components. A particular focus will be dedicated to cogeneration systems that, under proper conditions, allow a more rational use of this precious renewable and programmable source.
